Bus Maintenance and Onboard Technological Systems
Did you know that our buses travel over 5 million kilometres every year, and that a fleet of more than 150 vehicles provides daily public transport services across the area?
Behind this service there is the work of our maintenance technicians, who with skill and dedication ensure that vehicles remain efficient, safe and reliable.
Every day thousands of people rely on public transport to travel to work, school and essential services. The quality of this service also depends on the proper functioning of the vehicles and the technological systems installed on board.
Modern buses are equipped with several advanced technologies, including AVM vehicle tracking systems, passenger information systems, electronic ticket validation and sales systems, passenger counting systems and other onboard devices, allowing passengers to access real-time travel information and use the service easily and efficiently.
For this reason, we are looking for a young Mechanical or Mechatronics Technician, also with little or no previous experience, to join our workshop through a training or apprenticeship contract.
The selected candidate will join the maintenance team and help ensure the proper functioning of both vehicles and onboard technological systems, playing an important role in maintaining the reliability and quality of the public transport service.
